International Day Eve!

Published: July 5, 2018

Today was full of fun and activities as we prepare for International Day tomorrow! In Suomikoulu, villagers are learning new words like weather conditions, animals, how to pluralize something and more. For the toimintas today, villagers had the choice of koripallo, jalkapallo, playing "Spot It", craft-making or katuliidut drawing. Returning villagers spent tomintas practicing their dance and creating signs for International Day.

After dinner, villagers had a variety of games to choose from to play together such as SkipBo, Uno, Jenga, Afrikan Tahti and others. For the nightly camp game, villagers were split up into 2 teams and played Talvisota Simulaatio, a revised Capture the Flag. Before we knew it, it was time to go to bed to get a full nights rest before tomorrow's festivities!
