Happy Korvapuusti Day!

It's Korvapuusti Day in Finland! This beloved treat is often enjoyed over a hot cup of cofee with a friend. Today we're giving you the recipe to make your own to eat and share!

Korvapuusti (Cinnamon Bun) Recipe:

Necessary Ingredients: butter, milk, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, yeast, caradmom, flour, and salt.

Melt 1/4 cup butter, add 2 cups milk. In a bowl: 3 eggs, 1 generous teaspoon cardamom, 1/2 cup sugar. Mix all the wet ingredients together.

Add 4 teaspoons yeast, 6 cups flour, and 1 teaspoon salt; mix. Rise for about 2-3 hours.

Roll out and spread with the following crumble mixture: 1/4 butter, 1.5 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, generous amounts of cinnamon and cardamom, a bit of salt.

Roll up the crumble covered flat and cut on the diagonal. Press down on the small side of the diagonal cut and rise for another 1-2 hours, covered.

Brush with egg and sprinkle with rock sugar. bake at 325 for about 10-15 minutes.
