Foodie Friday: Lohikeitto

Warm up on this winter day with a bowl of lohikeitto!
1 Lb. Salmon
1 Qt. Water
Dash of Salt
1/4 Tsp White Pepper
1/2 Tsp Allspice
1 Bay Leaf
3/4 Cup Cream
Skin salmon (if necessary) and cut into chunks.
Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.
Slice carrots, onion, leek, and dill.
Melt butter in a pan and sauté the leek and onion.
In a separate pan, boil water.
Add potato and carrots.
Add in the leek, onion, pepper, allspice, and bay leaf.
Boil for 10-15 minutes.
Add in salmon and dash of salt.
Warm cream in saucepan or microwave and then add to soup.
Add salt and dill to taste.
