New two-week seito arrived today!

Published: July 30, 2018

Youkosou! Welcome!

We just had a new wave of seito arrive at Mori no Ike and had a great day getting to know them! Our four-week gakusei had a field trip today to Fargo, North Dakota, leaving our campsite at Dent open for our remaining staff to welcome the new two week villagers coming to Mori no Ike! Our JD82 villagers went through the process of entering Mori no Ike, going through "customs," moving into their uchi(cabins), choosing a Japanese name, creating a nafuda (name tag), and getting to know others! They also learned songs to sing at mealtimes and during the campfire. We're looking forward to the next two weeks with the new villagers and the gakusei!
