Zoo night!

Taiko Club

Kanji Sensei and Amaya Sensei teach Taiko (Japanese drum) Club everyday to the villagers. These are the pictures from the club today. They will perform their taiko this coming Saturday in front of the other villagers.

Uchi Night (Cabin Night)

Today's evening program was Uchi Night. The villagers spent time with their cabin counselors and friends in their cabin.

Game Show Night!

Tonight's evening program was a game show; some of the games were based on real Japanese game shows; others were games Japanese children play, and others were invented by the sensei (counselors)!

Language Learning Class

The villagers learned Japanese in their language learning classes this morning. The students were divided into three different language groups and did activities with two counselors. One class learned the different places of the camp site, another class practiced looking at Japanese words.
