Campers have settled into their daily routines at Lesnoe Ozero, but new things are constantly happening! A charming little kitchen garden appeared across from our boat dock with fresh herbs and berries growing. And Boris's chas kulturi managed to catch some beautiful fish! Meanwhile, villagers under direction of Katya and Kira produced beautiful khokhloma (Russian national handicraft) and pisanki (decorated Easter eggs). Talented...

Lesnoe Ozero Got Talent!

On Saturday our villagers performed the Talent show. During the show two-weekers, credit program villagers, and counselors were singing, dancing, playing guitar, flute, and doing gymnastics.

Today is an important milestone for all of us who are somehow connected with this place, Lesnoe Ozero - Concordia Russian Language Village. Today we are celebrating 50th anniversary of the village.

Closing Day - Family Program and One-Weekers

Today we had closing day at Lesnoe Ozero. In the morning villagers were packing and exchanging their contacts so they can keep in touch throughout the year. We had official part with parents and kids where villagers received certificate of completion of Concordia Russian Language program.

Today we had the final full day for one-weekers and Family program. To make this day special we celebrated Russian New Year at Lesnoe Ozero. All day long we were getting ready for the evening program to celebrate this very special holiday for all Russian-speaking people. Meanwhile, our villagers continued attend Russian lessons and cultural hours to review what they have learnt throughout the week.
