August 17- Moscow Metro
Published: August 17, 2017
Today during morning urok, villagers learned how to talk about what they wear during their morning urok. They even got to create their own clothing. View their creations below:
This evening the one-week villagers and children from the family program participants gathered on Krasnaya ploshchad (Red Square) for the evening program devoted to the Moscow metro system, which is famous for being one of the most beautiful subway systems in the world. The children received Russian visas and taped them into their passports. They also received money, metro maps and metro cards. The aim of the game was to use the metro for visiting various dostoprimechatelnosti (hope you are still alive after this long word - it just means tourist attractions) in Moscow. Our evening programs help villagers discover new topics, practice role plays, play educational games and finally just have fun at the end of the day. After the evening program, we ended the day with our favorite calm Russian songs around the campfire.
