We like to think that every day is an aventure with les Voyageurs, but today was exceptional, as we welcomed our first group of day campers (les aventuriers), one-weekers, and les familles, our group of family campers.
As we prepare for our upcoming trip in Voyageurs National Park, we are making sure that all villagers have the skills needed to succeed on the voyage. Yesterday everyone participated in one of the most anticipated events of the summer: l’examen de chavirement, or flip test! To successfully pass this test, villagers practice rescuing a capsized canoe.
