Hack is Back in 2020!

You read that right! Pack your lampe de poche and your beret… there will be French programs at Camp Holiday in summer 2020!
Earlier this year we announced that 2019 was going to be our last summer of French on our beloved Hackensack site. Since then we’ve re-organized to be able to bring back some of the sessions you love, especially our back-to-back family weeks with concurrent youth sessions and our popular adult weekend.
The Camp Holiday site will be shared next summer among three languages teams - French, Portuguese, and Italian - at different times in the summer. Notice that the dates and session codes for Lac du Bois, Hackensack have shifted a bit to make this all possible.
Meanwhile, French sessions have expanded at our Lac du Bois Bemidji location, and Les Voyageurs will offer their camping and canoeing adventures, so be sure to consult the full summer offerings to find the best fit for your family's summer schedule. French immersion sessions at Lac du Bois Hackensack will be offered during two weeks in June:
One week for youth ages 8-13 (listed here):
June 8th-13th (code: FH18) *discounted price
June 15th-20th (code: FH28)
Two weeks for youth ages 8-15 (listed here):
June 8th-20th (code: FH12)
One week French for families (ages 0+) (listed here):
June 8th-13th (codes: FH15 & FH19)
June 15th-20th (codes: FH25 & FH29)
Two week French for families (ages 0+) (listed here):
June 8th-20th (codes: FH13 & FH17)
Weekend French for adults (ages 19+) (listed here):
June 13th-15th (code: FRF30613) *discount for students and seniors
In July, the Italian Language Village, Lago del Bosco, will also offer an Explorer’s Club during one of their 2-week sessions open to kids 8-18 years old. The program offers immersion in the Italian Language Village with times of the day set aside for bilingual and French activities as well as opportunities to develop camping skills and travel to various Turtle River Lake sites for cultural exchanges. This session runs July 20th through August 1st and can be found in the Italian Camp’s offerings (coded LH72).
Our sessions will be posted on the Concordia Language Villages website as of September 3rd when registration opens. You can register then using your account in MyVillage (for youth) or your Campwise (for family and adult) at that point if you are a returning camper.
