Another busy and exciting day for our migrateurs! We started the morning out by climbing down to explore the catacombs and learn about the history of Paris’ cemeteries and burial grounds. From there, we went across town and up in the air, scaling the heights of the Eiffel Tower.
Our first full day in Paris was another day of French, food, friends, and fun! We got up bright and early to visit the Louvre, where we learned a little bit about art history and only got turned around a few times.
Nous sommes arrivés! After a long trip, our French Credit Abroad team is safely ensconced in our Paris hotel, resting up for another busy day tomorrow.
Last night we said a fond au revoir et à l’été prochain (goodbye until next summer) to all our villagers in true Lac du Bois fasion. Each cabin created a tableau vivant to represent a favorite memory from their one, two, or four weeks together.
Nous avons de la chance d’avoir des villageois aussi doués ! (We’re lucky to have such talented villagers!) Yesterday evening was our soirée de talent (talent show) in which villagers and counselors alike got to show off their skills in everything from singing to magic tricks. We were treated to a Spice Girls cover band, a twin switch, a can-can line, and more. Check out all the fun in the photos below!
