Today the villagers from Lac du Bois joined the villagers of the other Concordia Language Villages at Waldsee, the German Language Village, to celebrate International Day, a day of festivities, games, dancing, songs, and more!
Today, we welcomed new villagers to our Village while our four-week villagers spent the day in the center of Bemidji.
Salut nos amis ! Yesterday was la Journée Internationale (International Day)! In the morning, we had three different villages come to our site to share a picnic style lunch; we hosted the Italian village, Lago del Bosco, the Spanish Cass Lake village, El Lago del Bosque, and the Russian village, Lesnoe Ozero. We loved getting to learn new words and cultural habits! Before, during, and after our picnic lunch, we also danced and sang songs...

Coucou tout le monde (Hey everyone)! Everyone was allowed to sleep in this morning (yay!), but if villagers wanted to get up earlier, they had the option to play soccer this morning before breakfast.
