Assalamu alaikum, and welcome back to Al-Wāḥa! Today, we had a lazy Sunday schedule, which turned out to be not so lazy after all.
After the first mughamara, we had beach time!
Then, we had lunch at the beach!!!
Afterward, we headed into arts and sports time. The activities for this rotation of the arts and sports period were calligraphy, making embroidered bags, singing, and playing volleyball.
Following the arts and sports period, our lovely Swedish neighbors arrived!
We had a tasty snack with them and exchanged songs!
During free time, the Swedish villagers and counselors joined us for a variety of activities, including getting henna tattoos, learning how to write their names in Arabic, dancing, and playing chess.
After dinner, we had our evening program about Ramadan.
To represent the difference in the number of fasting hours from country to country, villagers took part in a relay race of varying distances.
Finally, after the debriefing on the evening program, we said goodbye to our Swedish neighbors and headed to bed!
