carnival night!!!

Published: August 14, 2018

Ahlan wa sahlan, everyone!

Today, in the mughamarat, we learned about a multitude of things:

fruits,

numbers,

clothes,

and other random things.

After free time, one of the credit villager sections started setting up for the carnival tonight. Check out our Instagram (@clvalwaha) for more on that! In the meantime:

some non-credit villagers being distracting...

In waqt al-fan wa al-riyada (arts and sports time), villagers did a number of things:

embroidery,

calligraphy,

and volleyball.

Then the carnival began, and there were a lot of stations:

face-painting

(end result),

shopping,

mini-bowling,

tie-dying,

a prize wheel,

several performances,

and

food,

food,

food!!!

We ended this marvelous carnival evening with some star-gazing, and then headed to bed!
