25 Things You Can Do At Al-Wāḥa!

Published: June 26, 2019

Salaam! Welcome back! There's now less than a month until we reunite once again at Al-Wāḥa! I was going through some of our old pictures in anticipation, and I thought I would share some memories. Here are 25 activities you can look forward to this summer at Al-Wāḥa!

watch and perform in plays!

play a game (or two!) of volleyball!

choreograph group dances!

and perform them!

read and tell stories!

sing songs in more than one language:

learn from and perform with resident artists:

do your own laundry!

show off your talents at the talent show!

attend a wedding, including the pre-wedding negotiations!

play soccer, even compete with other villagers on I-day!

rep your favorite Arab country at the I-day parade!

learn how to belly-dance!

eat delicious food from all over the world!

play the drums!

participate in cooking competitions!

meet your goofy match!

fly a kite!

bake bread over a fire!

grow your Arabic language skills exponentially (and get recognized for it)!

play chess!

try delicious Arab teas and coffees!

There really is something for everyone at Al-Wāḥa! We hope to see you all this summer for more fun! (For more information about the camp, visit here! There's still time to register!)
