***Fall 2022: Swedish Virtual Adult Weekend is not currently being offered.***
Villagers 18+ are invited to register for a virtual Swedish language program taught by long-time program leader Elise Viktoria Peters. The program will take place on Friday and Saturday with a schedule that includes five hours of level-based classroom learning (two and a half hours per day), one hour full group morning activity (half an hour per day), an hour and a half long evening program on Friday and a half an hour closing program on Saturday — totaling eight hours of Swedish language learning.
Participants will be divided into two groups: intermediate-advanced or beginner-low intermediate. Course materials will be provided a few days before the start of the program.
Elise Viktoria Peters is actively engaged in the Swedish community in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro in Minn. She has spent many years in Sweden and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in Scandinavian Studies and History. Viktoria has been involved with Sjölunden since the 1980s.
