***Fall 2022: Japanese Adult Week is not currently being offered.***

Come join us for a Japanese language immersion weekend adventure. The staff of Mori no Ike will take you on a journey to explore the language and culture of Japan. We can accommodate all levels of language learners.

This is a great opportunity to learn to speak more Japanese for travel or cultural exchange. This is also a great chance to practice and use your Japanese in real, everyday situations and conversations.

Study Japanese in small groups with language experts. Try out cultural activities such as taiko drumming, Japanese bread making and shodo (calligraphy with a brush). Enjoy authentic Japanese meals. Learn fun songs and activities with other Japan enthusiasts. We can’t wait for you to join the Mori no Ike community!

The weekend will be a multi-generational weekend that includes school groups, family program participants and individual adults interested in furthering their Japanese language proficiency and cultural understanding. In addition to the overarching program that integrates all groups of participants, adults will join small language learning groups targeted specifically for adults. The daily schedule provides for at least two such sessions each day.

Families and Students Welcome!

Families of all ages, as well as middle and high school students, are also welcome at the Japanese weekend! Visit our family programs page for more information.

Concordia Language Villages reserves the right to consolidate or cancel sessions that are below minimum enrollment levels.
